The jury's justification for the Adventure of the Year 2009, can easily be expressed just as described above. The project Moisie River exudes youthful enthusiasm and is planned in minute detail. The jury also believes that it is highly feasible, and therefore  the Adventure of the Year 2009 goes to the project participants; Shervin Solhkonan, Fredrik Johnsson, Alexander Pfotenhauer and Gustav Johnsson for their paddling projects in the Canadian wilderness. During more than three weeks they will paddle through the 370 km long Moisie River in northern Quebec, which will take them through the wild Canada and become a great adventure.
